Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the EURO JDM Geeks website and workshop services. By booking a service, requesting a quote, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.


1. Services & Bookings

  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • We may require vehicle details and a brief description of issues before confirming a booking.
  • Diagnostics may be required prior to quoting repairs. Diagnostic fees may apply.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are estimates based on the information available at the time.
  • Final costs may vary due to additional parts, labour, or unforeseen issues discovered during work.
  • We will seek your approval if costs materially change before proceeding.

3. Parts: OEM vs Aftermarket

  • We may use OEM, OES, or aftermarket parts depending on availability, cost, and suitability.
  • You can request OEM only; pricing and lead times may change accordingly.
  • Aftermarket or performance parts may affect manufacturer warranties or road legality.

4. Performance Modifications & Track Use

  • Modifications are for off‑road/track use unless stated otherwise.
  • You are responsible for compliance with local road regulations.
  • Increased wear, maintenance, and risk may result from performance modifications; we are not liable for misuse, racing incidents, or track-related damage.

5. Warranties

  • We provide a limited warranty on workmanship (e.g., 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first) unless otherwise stated.
  • Part warranties are subject to the supplier/manufacturer terms.
  • Warranties do not cover misuse, racing/track use, lack of maintenance, or modifications performed elsewhere.

6. Payments

  • Payment is due on collection unless prior arrangements are made.
  • We accept standard payment methods (please list: e.g., card, EFT).
  • Vehicles may not be released until invoices are paid in full.

7. Cancellations & No‑Shows

  • Please provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.
  • Late cancellations or no‑shows may incur a fee to cover reserved workshop time.

8. Vehicle Storage, Abandonment & Towing

  • Storage fees may apply for vehicles kept beyond 3 business days after work completion/notification.
  • If a vehicle is abandoned (e.g., not collected and unpaid), we may take steps allowed under applicable laws to recover costs.
  • Towing services (if arranged) are provided at your cost and risk unless otherwise stated.

9. Roadworthy & Compliance

  • Unless specifically booked, services do not constitute a roadworthy inspection or compliance certification.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legal for use on public roads.

10. Test Drives & Risk

  • We may test drive vehicles to diagnose issues or verify repairs.
  • You authorise our technicians to operate the vehicle in a safe and lawful manner for testing purposes.

11. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the vehicle’s condition and history.
  • Report any warning lights, noise, or known issues before work begins.
  • Remove personal belongings; we are not responsible for valuables left in the vehicle.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of use).
  • Our total liability is limited to re‑performing services or refunding the service fee, at our discretion.
  • Nothing limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Website Use

  • Website content is provided “as is” for general information.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free website access.
  • Content (text, images, logos) is the property of EURO JDM Geeks and may not be used without permission.

14. Third‑Party Links & Services

  • Our website may link to third‑party sites or use third‑party tools (e.g., booking, payments, analytics).
  • We are not responsible for third‑party content or practices.

15. Privacy

  • Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
  • By booking or contacting us, you consent to necessary communications regarding your vehicle and service.

16. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
  • Disputes should first be raised with us for resolution. If unresolved, matters may be escalated through appropriate QLD dispute resolution channels.
